The Segnetics SMH2010 Programmable Logic Controller is an entry-level
controller, simple and reliable. A large number of entrances and exits for an attractive price. Due to the presence
of two independent interfaces the RS-485 controller can simultaneously act in the Master and Slave mode, moreover
be a network node. The panel version of the controller allows you to install it outside the electrical cabinets and
use it as an operator panel. It is programmed by SMH2010 using the
SMLogix package, which creates custom control
programs in the language of function blocks -
FBD.
The controller is intended for use in networks based on the
RS485
interface as a leading controller for
a subnet of intelligent sensors and low-level controllers.
Due to the presence of an ATMega128 microcontroller with a large memory
capacity and support for advanced arithmetic, the controller can perform complex computational tasks
and support branched algorithms.
The controller has two independent RS485 channels and can operate
in slave mode using one of them. Thus, it can be used as a node controller in a large
technological network. Having on board a sufficient amount of non-volatile memory, the
controller allows you to accumulate data coming from the network for storage and delivery
for future use to controllers or top-level computers. The real-time clock as part of the
controller makes it possible to create process control programs with reference to the exact time.
1. Standalone controller.
2. The master is the leading network controller that controls actuators connected via the Modbus protocol.
3. Slave - slave controller in the Modbus network.
4. Modbus network node controller - receives, processes and transmits data, simultaneously works with devices at the upper and lower Modbus level.
