Matrix - advanced periphery for working with large data stream

Automation projects become more and more complex every year. The need to collect large amounts of information requires connecting a huge number of sensors and receiving data through various interfaces and protocols. Additional computing power is required to process such volumes.

High-speed performance and perfect periphery - such properties should be possessed by a modern controller for process control systems. And also to be fault-tolerant and easily configurable for a specific task.

We present to you the new generation Matrix controller, designed specifically to work with large streams of external data. High speed, impressive peripherals, modern design and excellent quality are the properties of the Matrix that will solve most automation tasks simply and inexpensively.

Features

Many onboard I/O combinations

For local applications, it is important not to overpay for unnecessary modules and channels. We took care of this by making analog channels universal. They are now software configurable as discrete. But the most important thing is the ability to combine USO boards to obtain optimal I / O configurations "on board" of the controller for solving your problems.

High-speed system bus

In the practice of building an automated process control system, distributed control systems are widely used. A common problem with such systems is communication delays and errors that they can broadcast. Matrix supports an impressive set of physical protocols to build a globally distributed system. However, the main advantage of the controller is the system bus, thanks to which part of the big problem is solved.

Up to 244 FMR expansion modules can be connected to Matrix. This is approximately 7,500 digital I/O *. Due to the high bus speed, it became possible to poll modules synchronously with the operation of the main program, that is, in the system tick. For example, up to 2500 I/O * are processed in 50 ms (with communication lines up to 2.3 km). At the same time, address assignment is automated, and special diagnostic and error handling procedures have been introduced.

Development tools allow building a system based on the Matrix bus that will work as a single controller, leveling the disadvantages of a distributed system.

By installing Matrix on site, you get an extremely robust control system. Easy to set up and maintain.

The variety of devices on site requires a large number of physical interfaces and protocols.
The Matrix provides a wide range of communication cards to support the simultaneous operation of up to 6 local area networks. Two RS-485 ports are present in each controller regardless of the version. Optionally, you can expand the capabilities by choosing a modification with RS-232, CAN, Ethernet, USB, MBus, or add the number of RS-485 ports. In addition, through the embedded web server you can change the system settings of the controller.

Built-in modem

Remote control of an object is a necessary function in the construction of modern process control systems. Using the Matrix with a 3G modem and SMConnect software, you can manage, monitor and maintain your systems around the world. Now you have access to your controller via the Internet, regardless of its location.

In addition, wireless transmission is essential for communicating with devices in hard-to-reach places. The built-in connector for an external antenna allows the controller to work on cellular networks and the Internet, even when installed in places with poor reception quality.
